Javier Vazquez Traded for Melky Cabrera, Arodys Vizcaino

Atlanta Braves made a shocking decision of trading Javier Vazquez to the New York Yankees in favor of the outfielder Melky Cabrera. Aside from that unexpected deal, the Braves also opted to let go of their left-handed reliever Boone Logan to get rookie left-hander Mike Dunn and right-handed prospect Arodys Vizcaino

It appears that the Atlanta Braves are banking on too much on the two Yankee baseball players. The 24 year old Melky Cabrera has posted hit average of .274, while having 13 home runs and 68 RBIs in 154 games in the last season with the New York Yankees. The stellar performance of the rookie Arodys Vizcaino had been also attractive for the Braves. This 19 year old player is currently rated the No. 3 prospect in the Yankees organization by Baseball America. Is it a good decision or will the Braves rise to the occasion? We'll just see their performance next season as the fans are obviously stunned at this announcement.
