Wes Welker Injury-Left Knee Drives Welker to be Benched

Wes Welker is now temporarily in a hiatus as he acquired a terrible knee injury during the first quarter of the New England Patriots game in Houston. Because of that, New England Patriots declared that Wes Welker will not be returning to play with them indefinitely. The Wes Welker injury occurred when his teammate Tom Brady made a pass to him and his knees began to buckle as he ran upfield. Because of this, trainers carried Welker out of the field and into the team locker room for immediate treatment.

Being the New England Patriots receiver, the Wes Welker injury is a big hurdle for his teammates. Another teammate, Tom Brady, has also a rib injury that haunted him throughout the game. The The New England Patriots and Houston Texans are tied 13-13 in the third quarter.
